Omei Sword Stormed home to finish second in her first-up assignment a fortnight ago and is the sole occupant of the top line of 2017 Coolmore Classic betting at Ladbrokes.com.au, at a $3.60 quote or $4.40 in the lucrative and unique Enhanced Odds market.

Omei Sword was a standout for Chris Waller in 2016 and resumed in spring for a dominant win in the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes (1200m) at Randwick on August 20th.

Progressing to second in the Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m) before injury ended her season, the High Chaparral filly was settled off the pace in the Group 2 Surround Stakes (1400m) first-up on February 25th and stretched out well in the final straight to place second.

While drawn in the outside barrier, Omei Sword should receive a good run in transit with Brenton Avdulla in the saddle and only 52.5kgs in tow.

Dixie Blossoms has received steady support in 2017 Coolmore Classic betting markets and remains the sole occupant of the second line at a $6.50 quote.

Saddled by trainer Ron Quinton, who prepared Peeping to win the Coolmore Classic in 2016, Dixie Blossoms has returned to racing in excellent conditions this season and is a live hope on Saturday with in-form hoop Tim Clark in the saddle.

Posting a career total of four wins and five minors through only twelve starts, the Street Sense mare ran on for third in the Group 3 Triscay Stakes (1200m) first-up before storming home to win the Group 2 Guy Walter Stakes (1400m) by close to seven lengths last time out on February 25th.

Global Glamour is interestingly the only other runner currently available at 2017 Coolmore Classic odds of less-than $10, but the filly has continued to drift to a quote of $9, having opened at $7.

A multiple Group 1 winner, Global Glamour broke through for her maiden win at the highest level in the Flight Stakes (1600m) at Randwick on October 1st, before repeating the dose in the Group 1 Thousand Guineas (1600m) in Melbourne only one week later.

Resuming from a freshen-up for ninth in the Listed Nudgee Quality (1200m), the Star Witness filly charged home to finish second in the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) on January 14th.

Returning to winning form in the Group 2 Light Fingers (1200m) on February 13th, Global Glamour was last seen running third in the Surround Stakes.
